The easiest way is to brush your teeth at least twice a day. It’s very fast and simple, and don’t take too much of your time. Brush your teeth after you have your breakfast and just before going to bed using toothpaste that has fluoride. These days almost all of the toothpaste you can find in the market is using fluoride, an important ingredient to prevent cavities and strengthen your teeth.

Just squeeze a small amount of toothpaste (a size of a pea) and brush all of your teeth. You can ask your pediatric dentist about the best way to brush; he or she will gladly explain it to you. Bottom line is, you should brush your teeth thoroughly (around 2 minutes should be enough).

In addition to brushing your teeth twice daily, you should also learn to floss your teeth. This is a great way to remove the hidden food that’s stuck in between your teeth that cannot be removed by regular brushing. It may feel a bit weird at first, but you should be able to do it flawlessly after a few try. It’s not that uncomfortable, trust me.

Last but not least, go and visit your dentist every six month. This way the dentist can examine your mouth and tell you and your parent if there is something to concern.
